Youth in Motion is a regional program bringing together young people from different community backgrounds within Northern Ireland to create original music.
Workshops are held in professional studio environments and tutored by musicians from various countries who introduce students to world instruments and the associated cultural music styles. Each group within each project location will write, record and produce original music, which can result as a CD recording or internet download.
Programs are scheduled to take place in several locations throughout Northern Ireland.
Youth in Motion originates from The Motion Project - a collective of musicians representing many countries.
